Community Outreach Adviser


  • Location: Successful applicants will be required to work at various outreach locations across Skye & Lochalsh area whilst also having the ability to carry out Home Visits.


  • Salary: £23,296 - per annum, £16.00 per hour.  Fixed term to 30 August 2028. Extension dependent on funding


  • Benefits: 28 days annual leave plus public holidays (pro rata) and an 8% employer’s contribution to pension


  • Hours: 28 hours per week

Skye & Lochalsh Citizens Advice Bureau offer an opportunity for a part-time Community Outreach Adviser to join our highly successful team. The COA will provide a high standard of holistic advice and support across various outreach locations across, Skye, Raasay and Lochalsh.  The project is designed to address crucial community needs and disadvantages faced by individuals, particularly those marginalised and vulnerable. Full training can be offered to the right candidate.

The post will be based in CAB office in Portree, although the service will be delivered in various locations throughout Skye & Lochalsh. Current driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential, with mileage expenses reimbursed. The post is subject to the disclosure of criminal and PVG checks.
