Glenbrittle Campsite Wardens (23 March – 15 October)

Ranked as the top UK Campsite by the Daily Telegraph and awarded the 'Gold Campsite of the Year 2019' by Great Outdoors Magazine, we seek committed, enthusiastic, and diligent seasonal Campsite Wardens who take pride in their work and possess a diverse skill set for this season. Applicants should have some customer service experience, including retail, cash handling, and café work, as well as general site upkeep and maintenance. Successful candidates will receive training and accommodation. Due to the remote location at the base of the Cuillin mountains, personal transport is necessary for this position. Onsite training commences in mid-March. We offer competitive pay, in-house training, free shared accommodation, and the opportunity to work with a fantastic team in beautiful surroundings.

The role involves assisting the Campsite Wardens in ensuring the smooth operation of all activities at the Glenbrittle Campsite & Cafe, including tent/hook-up pitch sales, site cleanliness and maintenance, security, and retail.

Open the shop and campsite each duty day as directed by the Warden, maintaining a 24-hour security presence and welcoming campers. Provide campers and visitors with information about the site, surrounding area, and detailed, up-to-date weather reports for climbers.

Ensure the camp shop is well-stocked, merchandise is ordered promptly, and items are attractively displayed.

Maintain the Campsite, toilets/shower block, and shop to a high standard, ensuring they are clean and litter-free.
