About Us

Torr Civils & Building Ltd are based on the Isle of Raasay and work throughout Skye and Lochalsh. We operate as a small main contractor delivering a range of residential, commercial and public works. We have an increasing workload and are now looking to add some experienced personnel to allow us to continue this progress. We are seeking candidates with the following attributes.

Role Overview Experienced Groundworker / Foreman

We are seeking someone with a depth of experience in groundworks who can deliver high-quality work while helping to coordinate, support and guide the team on site.

Technical Experience

· Drainage

· Utilities (water, power, data etc)

· Slabbing & Kerbing

· Foundations

· Concrete Finishing

· Plant operation desirable but not essential

· Read & interpret technical drawings

· Plan and communicate a programme of works
